The BSNL WiMAX tender has been cancelled


State owned Telecom Giant BSNL was cancelled the original WiMAX tender because of the non transperancy in the process of bidding for selecting WiMAX Franchisee Partners.A new tender date will declare after make some changes in the terms and conditions of tender.More than 20 companies were made a bid for become a WiMAX partner of BSNL.Now BSNL is using Soma Networks(US headquartered) as a Mobile WiMAX franchisee in the regions of Gujarat, Maharashtra Andhra Pradesh and Goa. In this year, Soma-BSNL launched their WiMAX services in Ahmedabad,Gujarat, and was reported got more than 1000 customers in enterprise segment.
